About these terms

These terms apply when you use this website, download our free WordPress plugins, buy a license for one of our paid plugins or other software, or hire us for custom development. "Yangrasoft", "we" and "us" mean Yangrasoft, Lazimpat - 2, Kathmandu, Nepal. "You" means the person or business using our website, software or services.

By buying, downloading or using our software you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are allowed to do so. If you do not agree, please do not use our software.

Free plugins

Our free plugins, such as Yangra Calculator, are published on WordPress.org under the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2 or later. You can use, change and share them under that license. They are provided as they are, and support for them is given on a best-effort basis through the WordPress.org support forum.

Paid plugins and licenses

Paid plugins, such as Yangra Calculator Pro, are sold as licenses. Unless the product page says otherwise, each license is for one website. To use the plugin on more websites, buy a license for each one. You can move a license from one website to another by deactivating it on the first.

An active license gives you plugin updates, access to Pro features through the license key, and support from us by email. The plugin code itself is licensed under the GPL version 2 or later, so your rights to the code you have downloaded are not limited by these terms. These terms cover the license key, updates, support and the services we provide around the plugin.

Do not share, resell or publish your license key, and do not use it to get around the one-site limit. We may deactivate a license key that is shared publicly or used on more websites than it was bought for.

Plans, billing and renewals

Payments are taken by our reseller, Freemius, Inc., at its checkout. Freemius is the merchant of record for these sales, so the payment, any sales tax or VAT and your receipt are handled by Freemius under its own terms.

Monthly and Yearly plans renew automatically at the end of each period at the price shown when you bought, unless we tell you about a price change before your next renewal. You can cancel at any time from your Freemius account or by emailing us. When you cancel, your license stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and is not renewed after that.

If a renewal payment fails or a subscription ends, the plugin keeps working with the features you already have, but you will no longer get updates, support or features that need an active license.

A Lifetime plan is a single payment. It gives you updates and support for as long as we continue to sell and maintain that plugin, and it does not need to be renewed.

Refunds

If a paid plugin does not work for you, email contact@yangrasoft.com within 15 days of buying and tell us what went wrong. We will try to fix the problem first, and if we cannot, we will refund your payment in full. Renewals can be refunded within 15 days of the renewal date in the same way.

When a refund is given, the license is deactivated and you should stop using the paid version. We may refuse a refund if the request comes after this period, if the license has been abused, or if the same customer has asked for refunds on several purchases before.

This does not affect any rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

Support and updates

Support covers installing, setting up and using our plugins as described in their documentation, and fixing bugs in our code. It does not cover writing custom code, fixing problems caused by other plugins or themes, or setting up your hosting, although we will tell you what we find.

We aim to answer support emails within two working days. Updates bring bug fixes, security fixes and sometimes new features. We may change or remove features in future versions, but we will not take away features you have paid for during an active license without good reason, such as a security risk or a change in WordPress itself.

Custom development and other services

Custom web and mobile apps, business software and other services are provided under a written quote or agreement that sets out the work, price, timeline and payment schedule. If that agreement differs from these terms, the agreement wins.

Unless the agreement says otherwise, the code we write specifically for you becomes yours once it has been paid for in full. We keep the right to reuse our general tools, libraries and know-how that are not specific to your project.

How you may use our software

You agree not to use our software or services to break the law, to send spam, to collect personal data without the consent your local law requires, or to harm other people or systems.

If you use our plugins to collect data from your own visitors, such as leads from a calculator, you are responsible for that data and for telling your visitors how you use it. Our plugins store it in your own WordPress database, not with us.

Our name and brand

The GPL covers the plugin code, not our name. The names Yangrasoft, Yangra Calculator and Yangra Inventory, our logos and this website's content belong to us. If you change and share our code, please give it a different name so people do not confuse it with ours.

No warranty

We build our software carefully and test it, but we cannot promise it will be free of errors, work with every theme, plugin or host, or never be interrupted. As far as the law allows, our software is provided "as is", without any warranty, express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.

Calculators built with our plugins show the results of the formulas you write. You are responsible for checking that your formulas, prices and results are correct before showing them to your customers.

Keep regular backups of your website and test updates on a staging copy before using them on a live website.

Limit of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, lost revenue, lost data or damage to your business reputation, arising from your use of our software or services.

Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product or service the claim is about in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending a license

You can stop using our software at any time. We may end or suspend your license, without a refund, if you seriously break these terms, for example by sharing or reselling your license key. Sections about ownership, warranty and liability continue to apply after a license ends.

How we handle your personal data is explained in our privacy policy at yangrasoft.com/privacy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. If there is a dispute, we will first try to settle it by talking with you. If that does not work, the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal will decide it, unless the law of your country gives you the right to go to your local courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown here when you buy or renew applies to that purchase. If we make important changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
